“There is nothing more beautiful than a priestly vocation in a family, than a vocation to the monastery or convent. What a protection for the whole family, for the brothers and sisters! Be sure of this.” – Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre
Today, January 24th, the pilgrimage in Quito, Ecuador begins and will continue through February 2nd for the celebration of the Feast of the Purification. The pilgrims will take part in a dawn procession each day at 5:00 a.m., visiting several of the many convents and monasteries in the city center. The novena of dawn processions brings awareness of this forgotten devotion to the city residents of Quito.
Here is a conference given on last year’s pilgrimage by Fr. Adam Purdy, explaining the proper title of Our Lady.
Frank Walker over at Canon212.com has asked some very good questions of the establishment Trad media. It seems the worse things get with Francis, the softer these “tradcumenists” get. Unite the Clans? The only clans that are coming together are those invited by Michael Matt. It seems as though Mr. Matt is on the defensive, as he can’t tolerate any negative criticism on the Remnant blog. If one holds the Truth, one doesn’t need to be defensive or hide anything, rather, he wants the Truth to be told, and shouted from the rooftops. Frank Walker is a lover of the Truth, as we should all be. May God bless him.
Into his hands the scales of the sanctuary will be placed
On February 2, 1634, Mother Mariana de Jesus Torres, a victim soul in the Royal Convent of the Immaculate Conception in Quito, Ecuador, was praying with fervor of soul, when at 3:00 AM in the upper choir of the convent, she saw the sanctuary light go out.
Then, the Queen of Heaven appeared, lit the tabernacle lamp and explained the reasons for the light having been extinguished.
- The propagation of heresies in the 19th and 20th centuries.
- Spiritual catastrophe in the convent of the Immaculate Conception.
- Sensuality will sweep through the world.
- The corruption of children’s innocence an the crisis in the clergy.
- The indifference of the wealthy to the oppressed Church – persecuted virtue, the apathy of the people.
Our Lady speaks:
“How this Church will suffer on that occasion the dark night of the lack of a Prelate and Father to watch over them with the paternal love, gentleness, strength, discernment, and prudence. Many priests will lose their spirit , placing their souls in great danger.”
” Pray insistently without tiring and weep with bitter tears in the secrecy of your heart, imploring our Celestial Father that for love of the Eucharistic Heart of my Most Holy Son and His Precious Blood shed with such generosity and by the profound bitterness and sufferings of His cruel Passion and Death, He might take pity on his ministers and quickly bring to an end those ominous times sending to this Church the Prelate who will restore the spirit of it’s priests.”
“Into his hands the scales of the Sanctuary will be placed so that everything is weighed with due measure and God will be glorified.”
” The fifth reason that the lamp was extinguished is due to the laxity and the negligence of those who possess great wealth who will indifferently stand by and witness the Church being oppressed, virtue being persecuted, and the triumph of the evil, without piously employing their riches for the destruction of the evil and restoration of the faith. It is also due to the indifference of the people who will allow the Name of God to be gradually snuffed out and adhere to the spirit of evil, freely delivering themselves to vices and passions.”
Let us pray most earnestly to the Queen of Heaven, to protect Pope Benedict, drive the enemies of the true Catholic Faith away from the Vatican and usher in the glorious restoration of Tradition.
Oh Lord, grant us a holy, Catholic pope!
